The TUYAN Plough Shear mixer (Tube Mill) features a mixing drum vessel equipped with an inlet, an outlet with a discharge valve, and a venting spout. It also includes a full-length mixing shaft and two end plates that hold flanged bearing assemblies with Teflon stuffing box seals. Moreover, a heavy-duty drive unit ensures smooth and reliable power transmission.
Inside the cylindrical drum, inclined blade-type plough tools rotate at high speed. Consequently, their special arrangement creates strong turbulence inside the mix. As a result, all product particles stay active and continuously move throughout the mixing cycle. Therefore, the system prevents dead zones and guarantees precise and uniform mixing.
In addition, for applications that demand higher mixing intensity, users can install a separately driven high-speed cutter. The Advance Tube Mill operates on the Principle of Mechanical Fluidization. Furthermore, the unique tool shape, angle, and rotation speed generate a powerful centrifugal vortex. This vortex lifts the materials and projects them in three dimensions. Thus, the ingredients merge quickly and blend evenly in a short process time.
The system is highly versatile. It works efficiently for mixing dry powders, granules, and short fibers. Additionally, it performs exceptionally well in agglomeration and granulation processes. Even when ingredients vary in particle size and bulk density, the mill ensures a perfectly homogeneous blend.
TUYAN advance Tube Mill is based on the Principle of Mechanical Fluidization of the product. The particular shape, position and rotation speed of the mixing tools, creates a centrifugal vortex motion which allows the materials to be projected in a three-dimensional way and to merge with each other. This ensures that ingredients with different particle size and bulk density are perfectly blended and mixed with high precision within the shortest possible time. It is used for mixing dry powders, granules or short fibers, for agglomerating or granulating the same materials.
